About the World Youth Parliament for Water

The World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW) is a network of regional and national chapters that organize youth and young professionals working in development related to water (18-35 years old) to make waves in the water sector. The WYPW advocates for youth-inclusive global development and for the inclusion of youth voices, expertise, and perspectives in water-related decision-making platforms at local, national, regional, and global scales. About North American Youth Parliament for Water

The mission of the NAYPW is to bring together young water leaders from across North America to develop solutions for the most pressing shared water issues. We want to ensure that waters are protected for future generations and are committed to working towards many aspects of equity regarding safe and secure access to drinking water, water policy, and research & management advocacy. We will develop programs engaging youth under 18, promote water-related research, bring together different disciplines, peoples and groups & influence governmental policy towards a sustainable, equitable present and future, all the while becoming a voice for youth in North America. In our Special Feature Event with the Clean Water Virtual Conference, we will be making public our first two key announcements and participation opportunities toward these goals.
