Project Description:

An informed tampon experience. The CITty tampon is a feminine hygiene product that has a visual indicator on the string when the tampon is at capacity. The technology involves a polyvinyl alcohol encapsulated dye packet that dissolves when it is in contact with menstruate. The dye turns the string blue and visually informs the user of the capacity of their tampon. The CITty tampon aims to give women more control over menstruation and reduce the waste associated with removing tampons too early.
