Project Description:
The project sought to summarize findings and recommend solutions to the sponsor intended to optimize wayfinding to the lab, communication between the lab and the Scheduling department, and the registration procedure for lab patient check-in. These are seen as the most pressing areas for improvement as supported by instances of patients requesting directions, patients arriving ill-prepared for tests, and patients unsure how to check in. The team pursued effective and viable solutions to remedy these issues, so the Cardiopulmonary lab can continue to serve their patients with superior quality of care.
